RCC cost per cubic feet/ cubic meter/ sq ft | RCC cost per cubic feet | RCC cost per cubic meter | RCC cost per square feet.
Cost of RCC concrete depends on various factors relating grade of concrete, if we use higher grade of concrete then cost will increases, it will also depend on Grade of Steel, mix ratio of concrete, labour charges, machinery charges and cost of raw material like cement, sand and aggregate. Rate of raw material differ from place to place.
There is different RCC structure in house construction like slab, beam and column. Quantity of steel used in slab beam and column is different, so cost of RCC goes up and down according to RCC structure, Steel quantity require less for slab then beam and column, so cost of RCC increases for beam and column.
By Thumb Rule, minimum Steel quantity used in column is about 1% and maximum upto 6 %, in beam minimum steel used is 1% and maximum upto 2% and in slab minimum steel quantity required is about 0.7 and maximum upto 1%.
RCC cost per cubic feet/ cubic meter/ sq ft
Suppose we have 1000 sq ft area of slab of 5″ thick, using M20 grade of concrete with mix ratio 1: 1.5: 3, in which 1 part is cement, 1.5 part is sand and 3 part is aggregate.
Thumb rule for various Raw materials are following:- 1) steel used in rcc slab is 80kg/cubic meter, 2) cement used is around 5kg/ sq ft, 3) Sand used is about 0.175 cft/ sq ft, 4) Aggregate used is about 0.350 cft/ sq ft and 5) Labour and shuttering charges is around rs 60/ sq ft.
Volume of rcc concrete slab= 1000 sq ft × 5/12 ft= 416.6 cft, 1 cubic meter = 35.32 cft, then Volume of rcc slab = 416.6/35.32 = 11.8 cubic meter.
1) Steel required for 1000 square feet rcc slab:- Thumb rule for Steel required for RCC slab is 80 kgs/m3, then quantity of steel required for 1000 sq ft ( 11.8 m3) rcc slab is equal to = 80 × 1.18 = 945 Kgs.
Suppose market rate of Steel is rs 60 per kg, then cost of 945kg steel = 945×60 = rs 56700.
2) Cement required for 1000 sq ft rcc slab:- Thumb rule for cement required for RCC slab is 5 kgs/ sq ft, then quantity of cement required for 1000 sq ft ( 11.8 m3) rcc slab is equal to = 5 × 1000/50 = 100 bags cement.
Suppose market rate of cement is rs 350 per bag, then cost of 100 bags cement = 350×100 = rs 35000.
3) Sand required for 1000 sq ft rcc slab:- Thumb rule for sand required for RCC slab is 0.175cft/ sq ft, then quantity of sand required for 1000 sq ft ( 11.8 m3) rcc slab is equal to = 0.175 × 1000 = 175 cft.
Suppose market rate of sand is rs 40 per cft, then cost of 175cft sand = 40×175 = rs 7000.
4) aggregate required for 1000 sq ft rcc slab:- Thumb rule for aggregate required for RCC slab is 0.350cft/ sq ft, then quantity of aggregate required for 1000 sq ft ( 11.8 m3) rcc slab is equal to = 0.350 × 1000 = 350 cft.
Suppose market rate of aggregate is rs 50 per cft, then cost of 350cft aggregate = 50×350 = rs 17500.
5) shuttering and labour charges: it will cost around rs 60 per sq ft, then their cost = 1000×60= rs 60000.
Total cost = steel cost + cement cost + sand cost + aggregate cost + labour & shuttering cost = 56700 + 35000 + 7000 + 17500 + 60000= rs 176200.
Total cost per sq ft = 176200/1000= rs 176.
RCC cost per cubic feet (cft) is around 176200/416.6 = rs 423.
RCC cost per cubic feet (cft):- the cost of RCC is differ from place to place according to raw material cost at particular place. However in general rates/cost of RCC is around rs 423 per cubic feet (cft). This cost includes cost of cement, sand, aggregate, Steel, labour of laying concrete, shuttering cost with labour and machinery charges.
RCC cost per square feet (sq ft):- the cost of RCC is differ from place to place according to raw material cost at particular place. However in general rates/cost of RCC is around rs 176 per square feet (sq ft). This cost includes cost of cement, sand, aggregate, Steel, labour of laying concrete, shuttering cost with labour and machinery charges.
RCC cost per cubic meter (m3):- the cost of RCC is differ from place to place according to raw material cost at particular place. However in general rates/cost of RCC is around rs 14932 per cubic meter (m3). This cost includes cost of cement, sand, aggregate, Steel, labour of laying concrete, shuttering cost with labour and machinery charges.
