In india, 2021, Using thumb rule, for small residential 1000 sq ft (40×25 sq ft or 50×20 sq ft) house construction, average cost for ground floor/G+0/1 floor building is range from INR 12 lakh to INR 17 lakh, for G+1/ 2 floor, it could be INR 21 lakh to INR 29 lakh, for G+2/ 3 floor, it could be INR 30 lakh to INR 41 lakh, for G+3/ 4 floor, it could be INR 39 lakh to INR 53 lakh and for G+4/ 5 floor, it could be INR 48 lakh to INR 65 lakh, based on quality of material used and design of your house, ground floor cost little be higher than 2nd floor, 2nd floor and next upper floor cost will be 75% of ground floor, this construction cost include cost of civil work, finishing work, labour charges, shuttering charges and all miscellaneous charges of security or plan approval by nagar nigam, Municipal or panchayat.

● Steel require about 4.0MT and their cost is around rs 2.6lakh, suppose steel rate per kg is around rs 65, then total cost = rs 4000× 65 = rs 260000.

● Sand require about 81.6 tons and their cost is around rs 81600, suppose sand rate per ton is rs 1000, then total cost = rs 81.6 × 1000 = rs 81600.

● Aggregate require about 60.8 tons and their cost is around rs 60800, suppose aggregate rate per ton is rs 1000, then total cost = rs 60.8 × 1000 = rs 60800.

● Brick require about 8000 nos and their cost is around rs 56000, suppose brick rate per 1000 piece is rs 7000, then total cost = rs 7000× 8 = rs 56000.

● Paint – The internal and external use of paint per square foot for walls is 0.14 liters and 0.04 liters per wall.

● Tiles – A 1000 square foot house will require 80-100 tiles (2 feet x 2 feet).
