How much concrete do I need to fill a hole | how many bags of concrete do I need to fill a round hole | how many bags of concrete do I need to fill a square hole | how many bags of concrete do I need to fill a rectangular hole.
The soil is dig out from the ground to make a hole, it may be in round, cube, rectangular and square shaped, to determine the concrete quantity do you need to fill a hole is exactly equal as volume of different shape hole, volume of a hole is measure by multiplying area and its depth.
Hence,
Volume of a hole = Volume of required concrete
Fence posts are built up surrounding the property area of land, it is made of iron steel rod or Timber, in those areas wooden Timber is not inexpensive, mostly agriculture land is surrounded by wooden Timber post, this is made for protection of agricultural land, farm house and their property, and some due to privacy reasons. Fence post are in round, square or rectangular shape made of steel, concrete pole or wooden Timber, but most commonly used is wooden timber fence post.

FOR ROUND HOLE
Determine how wide you want the hole and measure the diameter of a hole, suppose diameter of hole is about 12″
Determine how deep you want the hole and measure the depth of hole, suppose it is about 24 inch deep
Multiply the Area by the depth to determine volume of concrete needed to fill a hole, such as volume = (πD2/4)× depth, Volume = (3.14 × 12″×12″/4) × 24″ = 2713 cubic inch
Convert the volume from cubic inches to cubic feet by multiplying 0.0005787, such as volume of concrete in cubic feet = 2713 × 0.0005787 = 1.57 cubic feet
Convert the volume from cubic feet to cubic yard by multiplying 0.037, such as volume of concrete in cubic yard = 1.57 × 0.037 = 0.058 cubic yard.
Regarding this, How much concrete do I need to fill a hole, if you are filling a round hole of 12 inch diameter and depth of 24 inch in the ground to set a concrete, generally you need around 1.57 cubic feet or 0.058 cubic yards of concrete.
● A bag of 40 lb concrete yields about 0.30 cubic feet or 0.011 cubic yards
● A bag of 50 lb concrete yields about 0.375 cubic feet or 0.0138 cubic yards
● A bag of 60 lb concrete yields about 0.45 cubic feet or 0.017 cubic yards
● A bag of 80 lb concrete yields about 0.60 cubic feet or 0.022 cubic yards
Regarding this, how many bags of concrete do I need to fill a round hole, if you are filling a round hole of 12 inch diameter and depth of 24 inch in the ground to set concrete, generally you need around 5 bags of 40 lb, 4 bags of 50 lb, 3.5 bags of 60 lb, or 2.5 bags of 80 lb (Total 1.57 cubic feet or 0.058 cubic yards) of concrete.
FOR SQUARE HOLE
Determine how wide you want the square hole and measure the width of a hole, suppose width of hole is about 12″×12″
Determine how deep you want the hole and measure the depth of hole, suppose it is about 24 inch deep
Multiply the Area by the depth to determine volume of concrete needed to fill a square hole, such as volume = area × depth, Volume = 12″×12″ × 24″ = 3456 cubic inch
Convert the volume from cubic inches to cubic feet by multiplying 0.0005787, such as volume of concrete in cubic feet = 3456 × 0.0005787 = 2 cubic feet
Convert the volume from cubic feet to cubic yard by multiplying 0.037, such as volume of concrete in cubic yard = 2 × 0.037 = 0.073 cubic yard.
