How many bags of cement for 100 square feet area? Hi guys in this article you know about how many bags of cement required for 100 sq ft (square feet) internal wall plastering work, external wall plastering work, brick masonry work, RCC m20 floor slab and RCC M20 roof casting of slab.
In this article we know about how many bags of cement is required for 100 square feet brick wall, considering brick masonry calculation for 100 square feet area we have require binding & adhesive material as cement mortar which is mixture of cement and sand, cement mortar ratio for brickwork is 1:6 for 9 inch and 13.5 inch thick brick wall and 1:4 or 1:5 is for 4.5 inch or 4 inch thick brick wall.
RCC floor slab and roof slab of 100 square feet area require Steel which concrete (mixture of cement sand and aggregate), considering M20 grade of concrete are used in RCC slab and roof slab of hundred square feet area and thickness of RCC slab is 6 inch and thickness of rcc roof slab is 5 inch
Plastering of brick wall or concrete wall is two types, external wall plastering and internal wall plaster, considering ratio of cement mortar as binding material for external wall plastering is 1:5 and thickness of external wall plastering 20mm. Considering ratio of cement mortar for internal wall plastering is 1:5 and thickness of internal wall plastering is 12mm, in this article we have to calculate how many cement bags required for 100 square feet external wall plastering and internal wall plastering.
How many bags of cement required for 100 sq ft area
Calculation of cement bags required for different types of building or structure work like plastering of brick wall, RCC flooring slab and RCC roof slab casting, brickwork, laying of brick for different thickness 4.5 inch 9 inch and 13.5 inch. Given area of brickwork = 100 sq ft
Thickness of brick wall = 13.5 inch = 1.125′
Volume of brickwork = 100 × 1.125 = 112.5 Cuft
We have to convert volume of brick cubic feet into cubic metre and we know that
35.3147 cu ft = 1 Cu m
112.5 cuft = 3.186 cubic meter
Volume of brickwork = 3.186 cubic meter
Volume of indian brick size = 0.19 × 0.09 ×0.09 m3 = 0.001539 m3
Volume of 1 brick = 0.001539 m3
Thickness of mortar = 10 mm
Volume of 1 brick with mortar = 0.2×0.1×0.1 m3 = 0.002 m3
No. of bricks = 3.186/0.002 = 1593 nos
Volume of all bricks without mortar = 1593 × 0.001539 = 2.45 cubic meter
Volume of mortar = 3.186 _ 2.45 = 0.736 m3
Wet volume of mortar = 0.736 m3
Dry volume of mortar = 0.736 ×1.33 = 0.978 m3
Cement mortar ratio for 13.5 inch brick wall is 1:6 ( 1 part cement and 6 part is sand )
