1) Given :-
Outer dia of steel pipe = 60 mm
Thickness of steel pipe = 3 mm
Length of steel pipe = 1 m
Density of steel = 7850 kg/m3
2) Calculation:-
Weight = volume × density
Volume = π/4D^2h
We have D1= 60 mm = 0.060 m
D2( inner dia)= outer dia_ thickness
D2 = 60mm_ 3mm
D2= 57 mm = 0.057 m
Volume = π/4(D1^2_D2^2) h
Volume = 3.14/4(0.060^2_0.057^2) 1 m3
Volume = 0.0002355 m3
Weight = 0.0002355 m3× 7850 kg/m3
Weight = 1.85 kg/m
1.85 kg is weight of hollow circular steel pipe per meter with dimension outer dia 60 mm and thickness is 3 mm

3.14/4(0.000351)*1 = 0.000275535m3 instead of 0.0002355 m3.
