Quantity of cement sand and aggregate in 10 m3 of concrete

Quantity of cement sand and aggregate in 10 m3 of concrete, different grade of concrete mix ratio of concrete, in this topic we learn about calculation of quantity of cement sand and aggregate in 10 m3 concrete.

We know that concrete is mixture of cement fine aggregate and coarse sand. Concrete is used for PCC and RCC work having reinforcement is used.

RCC is is used for Casting of slab and column and footing of any structural building. PCC have no reinforcement used it has only mixture of cement sand and aggregate.quantity of cement sand and aggregate in 10 m3 of concrete

What are different grade of concrete

concrete is used in different form like M10, M15 ,M20 and M25 where M- indicates the mix ratio and number indicating compressive strength of different concrete in curing time of 28 days.quantity of cement sand and aggregate in 10 m3 of concrete

mix ratio of different grade of concrete

1) M10- in M10 grade of concrete mix ratio is 1: 3: 6 in which one part is cement and 3 part is sand and 6 part is aggregate.

2) M15 – in m15 grade of concrete mix ratio is is 1: 2: 4 in which one part is cement and two part is sand and 4 part is aggregate.

3) M20 – in M20 grade of concrete mix ratio is 1: 1.5:3 in which one part is cement 1.5 part is sand and 3 part is aggregate.

4) M25 – in M25 grade of concrete mix ratio is 1: 1 : 2 in which one part is cement 1 part is sand and 2 part is aggregate.

calculate quantity of cement sand and aggregate for 10 cubic metre concrete and take M10 grade of concrete

Solve;-

■ given :-

Wet volume of conc = 10 m3

Mix ratio in m10 = 1 :3:6

Total proportion = 1 + 3 + 6 = 10

Density of cement = 1440 kg/m3

1 bag cement = 50 kg

1 cubic meter = 35.32 cubic feet

■ Solution:-

Dry volume = wet volume× 1.54

Dry volume = 10× 1.54 = 15.4 m3

A) cement calculation in kg

Weight = volume× density× part of proportion

Weight = (15.4×1440×1)/10 = 2217.6 kg

No of bag cement = 2217.6/50= 44.352

B) Sand calculation in cft

Volume = (3× 15.4×35.32)/10 = 163.18 cft

C) aggregate calculation in cft

Volume = (6× 15.4×35.32)/10 = 326.36 cft

calculate quantity of cement sand and aggregate for 10 cubic metre coआncrete and take M15 grade of concrete

Solve;-

■ given :-

Wet volume of conc = 10 m3

Mix ratio in m15 = 1 :2:4

Total proportion = 1 + 2 + 4 = 7

Density of cement = 1440 kg/m3

1 bag cement = 50 kg

1 cubic meter = 35.32 cubic feet

■ Solution:-

Dry volume = wet volume× 1.54

Dry volume = 10× 1.54 = 15.4 m3

A) cement calculation in kg

Weight = volume× density× part of proportion

Weight = (15.4×1440×1)/7 = 3168 kg

No of bag cement = 3168/50= 63.36

B) Sand calculation in cft

Volume = (2× 15.4×35.32)/7 = 155.408 cft

C) aggregate calculation in cft

Volume = (4× 15.4×35.32)/7 = 310.816 cft

calculate quantity of cement sand and aggregate for 10 cubic metre concrete and take M20 grade of concrete

Solve;-

■ given :-

Wet volume of conc = 10 m3

Mix ratio in m20 = 1 :1.5 :3

Total proportion = 1 + 1.5 + 3 = 5.5

Density of cement = 1440 kg/m3

1 bag cement = 50 kg

1 cubic meter = 35.32 cubic feet

■ Solution:-

Dry volume = wet volume× 1.54

Dry volume = 10× 1.54 = 15.4 m3

A) cement calculation in kg

Weight = volume× density× part of proportion

Weight = (15.4×1440×1)/5.5 = 4032 kg

No of bag cement = 4032/50= 80.64

B) Sand calculation in cft

Volume = (1.5× 15.4×35.32)/5.5 = 148.34 cft

C) aggregate calculation in cft

Volume = (3× 15.4×35.32)/5.5 = 296.689 cft

(Q4) calculate quantity of cement sand and aggregate for 10 cubic metre concrete and take M25 grade of concrete

Solve;-

■ given :-

Wet volume of conc = 10 m3

Mix ratio in m25 = 1 :1 :2

Total proportion = 1 + 1 + 2 = 4

Density of cement = 1440 kg/m3

1 bag cement = 50 kg

1 cubic meter = 35.32 cubic feet

■ Solution:-

Dry volume = wet volume× 1.54

Dry volume = 10× 1.54 = 15.4 m3

A) cement calculation in kg

Weight = volume× density× part of proportion

Weight = (15.4×1440×1)/4 = 5544 kg

No of bag cement = 5544/50= 110.88

B) Sand calculation in cft

Volume = (1× 15.4×35.32)/4 = 136 cft

C) aggregate calculation in cft

Volume = (2× 15.4×35.32)/4 = 272 cft
