How many cement bags in m20 concrete ?

How many cement bags in m20 concrete ? Hi guys in this article we know about how many cement bags per cubic metre of M20 grade of concrete & what is the ratio of m20 concrete & how much quantity of cement sand and aggregate are required for 1m3 of m20 grade of concrete & also know about m20 concrete cement bags.

we know that concrete is generally two types RCC that is reinforced cement concrete and PCC which is plain cement concrete. in RCC concrete there is a used of Steel and PCC concrete is plain concrete without Steel.

concrete is mixture of cement sand and aggregate in fixed proportion and m20 is standard grade of concrete that is used in both RCC & PCC work

what is the cement mortar ratio of m20 concrete,there are different types of grade of concrete like M 7.5 ,M10, M15, M20, M 25 and so on. But in this topic we have to study about m20 grade of concrete.M Stand for mix and numerical figure 20 is compressive strength of curing time of 28 days. And mix ratio in m20 grade of concrete is (1:1.5:3) in which one part is cement 1.5 part is sand and 3 part is aggregate.

How many cement bags in m20 concrete

For calculating how much cement required for M20 concrete we need

Given volume of concrete = 1m3

Wet volume of concrete = 1m3

If we convert wet volume to dry volume of concrete then we will multiply 1.54 in wet volume of concrete.

Dry volume of concrete = wet volume ×1.54

Dry volume of concrete = 1m3×1.54 =1.54 m3

Density of cement = 1440 kg/m3

Mix ratio for m20 concrete is 1 : 1.5 :3, in which one part is cement, 1.5 part is sand and 3 part is aggregate

Total proportion = 1+1.5+3 = 5.5

Part of cement = 1/5.5

Part of sand = 1.5/5.5

Part of aggregate = 3/5.5

"How

 no of cement bags in m20 concrete

Weight = volume× density

Weight of cement = 1/5.5×1.54 m3×1440 kg/m3

Weight of cement = 403.2 kg

1 bag cement  weight = 50 kgh

How many cement bags in M20 concrete? 1m3 of M20 concrete require 403kgs of cement, 1 cement bags weight = 50kgs, no of cement bags in m20 concrete = 403.2/50 = 8.064 bags, so around 8 bags cement required in M20 concrete.

how much cement required for M20 concrete? their answer is 8 bags (403 kgs) cement required for m20 concrete.

How much cement sand and aggregate required for 1m3 of m20 concrete

1) 8.064 no ( 403.2 Kg) of bags of cement  required for 1m3 of M20 concrete

2) volume of sand in cft for 1m3 of m20 concrete

1m3 = 35.32 cft

Dry volume of concrete = 1.54 m3

Part of sand in mix ratio = 1.5/5.5

Volume =( 1.5/5.5) × 1.54×35.32

Sand volume = 14.83 cft

● Ans. :- 14.83 Cu ft sand quantity required for 1m3 of m20 concrete

3) volume of aggregates in cft for 1m3 of m20 concrete

1m3 = 35.32 cft

Volume =( 3/5.5) × 1.54×35.32

Aggregates volume = 29.67 cft

So quantity of material in m20 grade of 1 cubic metre concrete is following

bags of cement in m20 = 8.064

Volume of sand = 14.83 cft

Volume of aggregates = 29.67 cft

M20 concrete cement bags:- using dry volume is equal to 1.54 times of wet volume of concrete, about 8bags (400kgs) of cement required for 1 cubic metre of M20 concrete grade in ratio 1: 1.5: 3, in which one part is cement, 1.5 part is sand and 3 part is aggregate with compressive strength of 28N/mm2 within 28 days after casting & curing.

● Ans. :- 8.064 bags cement, 14.83 Cu ft sand & 29.67 Cu ft aggregates are quantity of material required for M20 grade of 1m3 concrete.
