How many cement bags in m25 concrete

How many cement bags in m25 concrete ? hi guys, in this post we know about how many cement bags used in m25 1 cubic metre of concrete and also know about how much cement, sand and aggregate  required for m25 grade of 1m3 of concrrete.

we know that concrete is generally two types RCC and PCC in which RCC is reinforced cement concrete and PCC which is plain cement concrete.

in RCC concrete there is a used of reinforcement steel bar and PCC concrete is plain cement concrete without Steel.

concrete is mixture of cement sand and aggregate in fixed proportion and m25 is standard grade of concrete that is used in only RCC and not used in PCC work

what is the cement mortar ratio of m25 concrete : There are different types of grade of concrete like M5, M 7.5 ,M10, M15, M20, M 25 and so on. But in this topic we have to study about m25 grade of concrete. M Stand for mix and numerical figure 25 is compressive strength of curing time of 28 days.

And cement mortar mix ratio in m25 grade of concrete is (1:1:2) in which one part is cement 1 part is sand and 2 part is aggregate.

How many cement bags in m25 concrete

Given volume of concrete = 1m3

Wet volume of concrete = 1m3

For converting wet volume to dry volume to we will multiply 1.54 in wet volume of concrete

Dry volume = wet volume×1.54

For calculation of dry volume we multiply 1.54 into wet volume

Dry volume = 1m3×1.54 = 1.54 m3

Density of cement = 1440 kg/m3

Mix ratio of mortar = 1 : 1 :2

Total proportion = 1+1+2=4

Part of cement = 1/4

Part of sand = 1/4

Part of aggregate = 2/4

How many bags of cement in m25 grade of 1m3 of concrete
How many bags of cement in m25 grade of 1m3 of concrete

no of cement bags in m25 concrete

Weight = volume× density

Weight of cement = 1/4×1.54 m3×1440 kg/m3

Weight of cement = 554.4 kg

1 bags cement = 50 kg

bags of cement = 554.4/50 =11.088

no of cement bags in m25 = 11.088

11.088 bags cement are used in m25 grade of 1m3 concrete

How much cement sand and aggregate required for m25 concrete

1) quantity of cement in m25 concrete

11.088 no (554.4 kg) of cement bags are used in m25 grade of 1m3 concrete

2) volume of sand in cft for m25 concrete

1m3 = 35.32 cft

Volume =( 1/4) × 1.54×35.32

Sand volume = 13.6 cft

13.6 Cu ft of sand quantity are used in m25 grade of 1 cubic metre of concrete

3) volume of aggregates in cft for m25 concrete

1m3 = 35.32 cft

Volume =( 2/4) × 1.54×35.32

Aggregates volume = 27.2 cft

So quantity of material in m25 grade of 1 cubic metre concrete is following

bags of cement in m25 = 11.088

Volume of sand = 13.6 cft

Volume of aggregates = 27.2 cft

11.088 bags cement, 13.6 cu ft sand & 27.2 cu ft aggregate are quantity of material required for m25 grade of 1 cubic metre of concrete
