Wet volume = 1m3

Dry volume = wet volume×1.54

For calculation of dry volume we multiply 1.54 into wet volume

Dry volume = 1m3×1.54 =1.54 m3

Density of cement = 1440 kg/m3

Mix ratio = 1 : 1.5 :3

Total proportion = 1+1.5+3=5.5

Part of cement = 1/5.5

Part of sand = 1.5/5.5

Part of aggregate = 3/5.5
