How many brick in 1 cft brick work & their calculation

How many brick in 1 cft brick work, number of bricks per cft in brick wall,in this topic we know to calculate how many bricks per cft in wall and also note about brick work calculation in CFT and volume of brick in CFT. It is very easy calculation for preparing estimate of your project and know about average brick work calculation in cft ,which is required for your project.

It is quite understanding topics and know about how many brick in 1 cft brick work. we know that bricks have many size used in different country but we should calculate estimate and discuss about modular brick. Modular brick with mortar has standard size in inch is 8″ × 4″ ×4″ & in mm is 200mm ×100mm×100mm

How many brick in 1 cft brick work

Brickwork calculation in CFT require different key step of calculation to find out how many brick in 1 CFT. We require size of brick, mortar thickness, volume of brick in CFT. Now we have following steps for brickwork calculation in CFT:

Brickwork calculation in CFT

● step 1 :- we know size of Indian brick  that is 190mm × 90mm × 90mm, in which Length of brick = 190 mm,Width of brick = 90 mm,Thickness of brick = 90 mm.

● step 2 :- consider mortar thickness used in brickwork  is about 10 to 12 mm, but in this brick work calculation in CFT we take mortar thickness = 10 mm

● step 3 :-  now add the mortar thickness in size of brick to get brick size with mortar, consider mortar thickness 10mm, By adding mortar thickness in each dimension of modular brick we get following

Brick size = 200mm ×100mm×100mm = 8″ × 4″ ×4″, hance brick size with mortar = 8″ × 4″ ×4″.

Volume of brick in CFT

● step 4 :- First we have to find volume of brick in CFT , for this we have to convert inch into feet, Now change inch measurement into feet which will be divided by 12

Brick size with mortar = 8/12’× 4/12′ × 4/12′ = 0.667′ × 0.334′ × 0.334′

Volume of brick in CFT = 0.667′ × 0.334′ × 0.334′ = 0.0744 cft, so volume of 1 nominal size of brick in CFT = 0.0744

● step 5 :- no of brick in 1 CFT brick work :- now calculate number of bricks in 1 CFT, we have volume of brickwork = 1 cft and volume of one brick = 0.0744, hance

number of brick = brickwork volume/ volume of brick

no of brick = 1 cft/0.0744 cft = 13.44 = 14

Now question is how many Brick in 1 CFT ?, there will be simple answer, there are 14 nos bricks in 1 CFT brick work.
