Volume of slab= l×b×t

Wet volume of slab= 3m3

(Note:-dry volume =wet volume×1.54)

Dry volume = 1.54×3= 4.62 m3

breadth of column =0.6 m

Volume of column =6×0.6×0.3=1.08 m3

Wet volume = 1.08 m3

Dry volume = 1.54×1.08 = 1.6632 m3

1.6632 m3 concrete quantity is required for construction of rectangular column

* **given measurement of circular column**

Height of column =6m

Diameter of circular column=0.3m

Radius

= diameter/2=0.30/2=0.15m

radius of column=0.15m

Volume of column=πr2h

Volume of column

=3.14×0.15×0.15×6=0.4239m3

Wet volume of column

= 0.4239m3

Dry volume of column

=0.4239×1.54=0.6528 m3

0.6528 m3 concrete quantity is required for construction of circular column
