3) thickness of mortar:- brick quantity calculation also depend upon thickness of mortar where it will be 0.4 inch or 0.5 inch

How many bricks required for 1000 square feet house of 4.5 inch brick wall?

◆ brick size = 190mm ×90mm×90mm
Mortar thickness = 12mm

Brick size with mortar = 202mm×102mm×102mm

Volume of 1 brick with mortar = 0.202×0.102×0.102m3 = 0.0021m3

Area of brickwork = 1000 sq ft

Thickness of wall = 4.5 inch

Volume of brickwork = 1000×4.5/12 cu ft

Volume of brickwork = 375 cuft

Volume of brickwork = 375/35.3147 m3

Volume of brickwork = 10.618 m3

No. of bricks = volume of brick work/volume of 1 brick with mortar

no of bricks = 10.618/0.0021 = 5056

5056 no of bricks required for 1000 square feet house of 4.5 inch brick wall construction.

How many bricks required for 1000 square feet house 9 inch brick wall?

◆ brick size = 190mm ×90mm×90mm
Mortar thickness = 12mm

Brick size with mortar = 202mm×102mm×102mm

Volume of 1 brick with mortar = 0.202×0.102×0.102m3 = 0.0021m3

Area of brickwork = 1000 sq ft

Thickness of wall =  inch

Volume of brickwork = 1000×9/12 cu ft

Volume of brickwork = 750 cuft

Volume of brickwork = 750/35.3147 m3

Volume of brickwork = 21.238 m3

No. of bricks = volume of brick work/volume of 1 brick with mortar

no of bricks = 21.238/0.0021 = 10113

10113 no of bricks required for 1000 square feet house of 9 inch brick wall construction

How many bricks required for 1000 square feet 13.5 inch brick wall?

◆ brick size = 190mm ×90mm×90mm
Mortar thickness = 12mm

Brick size with mortar = 202mm×102mm×102mm

Volume of 1 brick with mortar = 0.202×0.102×0.102m3 = 0.0021m3

Area of brickwork = 1000 sq ft

Thickness of wall = 13.5 inch

Volume of brickwork = 1000×13.5/12 cu ft

Volume of brickwork = 1125 cuft

Volume of brickwork = 1125/35.3147 m3

Volume of brickwork = 31.856 m3

No. of bricks = volume of brick work/volume of 1 brick with mortar

no of bricks = 31.856/0.0021 = 15169

15169 no of bricks required for 1000 square feet 13.5 inch brick wall construction

5056, 10113 and 15169 no of bricks required for 1000 square feet 4.5 inch,9 inch and 13.5 inch brick wall construction respectively.

How many bricks required for 1000 square feet house

Suppose we have a plan of 1000 square feet house length 40 feet and with is 25 feet, considering a plan of house having external wall of 9 inch of all surrounding area, internal wall of 40 feet and 25 feet long of 4.5 inches and there is foundation of 13.5 inch brick wall surrounding all over external wall depth to 6 inch,

height of brick wall above DPC layer is 10 feet and below plinth level depth of brick wall is 1 feet of 9 inch wall and 6 inch of 13.5 inch brick wall

For finding the how many bricks required for 1000 square feet house we have to do many calculation steps.

1) brick calculation in 9 inch external wall

Length of wall = 40 ft

Width of wall = 25 ft

Thickness of wall = 9″ = 0.75 ft

Height of wall = 10 ft

Perimeter of wall = 2(40 +25) =130 feet

Area of wall = 130 ft ×10 ft = 1300 sq ft

10 bricks per sq ft for 9 inch wall

no of bricks = 1300×10 = 13000

2) brick calculation for 4.5 inch brick wall

Length of wall = 40 ft

Width of wall = 25 ft

Height of wall = 10 ft

Area of wall = (40+25) 10 = 650 sq ft

5 bricks per sq ft for 4.5 inch wall

no of bricks = 650 ×5 =3250

3) brick calculation for 9 inch brick wall below plinth

Length of wall = 40 ft

Width of wall = 25 ft

depth of wall = 1 ft

Area of wall = 2(40+25) 1 = 130 sq ft

10 bricks per sq ft for 9 inch wall

no of bricks = 130 ×10 =1300

4) brick calculation for 13.5 inch brick wall in foundation

Length of wall = 40 ft

Width of wall = 25 ft

Depth of foundation = 6 inch = 0.5 ft

Area of wall = 2 (40+25) 0.5 = 65 sq ft

15 bricks per sq ft for 13.5 inch wall

no of bricks = 65 ×15 = 975

Now total number of bricks required for 1000 square feet house

Bricks for external wall = 13000

Bricks for internal wall = 3250

Bricks below plinth = 1300

Bricks in foundation = 975

Total bricks = 18525.

How many bricks required for 1000 square feet house? their answer will be:- 18525 no of bricks required for 1000 square feet house.
